It is with a heavy heart that this message is
sent out today. Mike DiSanto, a prominent
optical educator and friend of the Opticians
Association of America, passed away on Monday
after losing his battle with Stage IV Pancreatic
Cancer.
Mike DiSanto spent much of his long career
teaching basic and continuing education courses
to thousands of opticians, optometrists,
ophthalmologists, lab personnel, customer
service personnel, and vendor representatives.
His educational materials and two books, TOPS
and ABO Review Course, have helped and will
continue to help hundreds each year prepare for
certification.
