Opticians who are licensed by the
Commonwealth of Kentucky as Ophthalmic dispensers. Active members have voting privileges
and the right to run for office, provided they were a member in good standing as of
January 1 of the election year.

Member (Apprentices): |
Apprentice opticians who
are licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky as Apprentice Ophthalmic dispensers.They
shall have all rights and privileges of an active member except they will not be able to
hold office or vote. |
| Out of
State Associate: |
Those persons who are not licensed by
the Commonwealth of Kentucky as Ophthalmic dispensers or as Apprentice Ophthalmic
dispensers. They must however hold a valid state ophthalmic dispensers license (where
required), and or a Master optician certification and or be ABO or NCLE certified and or
be a FCLSA. They shall have all rights and privileges of an active member except they will
not be able to hold office or vote. |
